Yesterday I tried to connect to my no2 hard drive which I use as a storage unit for files . My win7 OS is on a 120Gb SSD bought several years ago when they were more expensive. My hard drive didn't appear instead I got a box which had a gdiplus.dll in it. In Explorer the hard drive is shown still mounted but as an empty box. Clicking on where the drive should be brings up the gdiplus.dll file.
I use Paragon Partition Manager and loading this to investigate I found the hard drive (1 Tb) listed,Mounted, formatted as a single primary partition, empty but ready to go which does not agree with windows.
I am in the process of setting up WHS11 as a NAS so I can improve my back up system.
Any help would be appreciated
