Hey folks,

I have two hard drives in this laptop, one has windows on it and the other is a storage drive. When windows was installed I suppose I made the storage drive a fat32, which started causing me grief when I tried to move large files on to it. So I (in my infinite wisdom) installed a partition management program, and "converted" the drive to an NTFS. Now windows restore wont work, and either will any of my backup utilities. Any suggestions/recommendations?

Welcome!

What happens when you try to use the backup programs? Where are you backups stored, on the storage drive?

The backups are stored on a 640gb usb drive. I apparently spoke to soon, as now the backups appear to be working... I'm going to do a restart and try again/confirm backup integrity

The backup application could not start due to an internal error:
Server execution failed (0x80080005).

Don't have a clue what to do!
