Has anyone tried to Start Windows 7 HP in "Safe Mode" using the usual F8 method?

When I attempt this, I Did Not obtain the usual "Advanced Boot Options " screen, = I have an entirely New Type of screen, I have not encountered before in either XP or Vista under the F8 option, it is a Window (rather than a black Dos type screen) that offered me a selection of the 4 Drives I have available on my Desktop PC, to Boot From =
1. 3.5 Floppy 2. HDD Drive 3. DVD/CD Drive 4. 2nd DVD/CD Drive,

This is of course a very useful addition, as you no longer need to change the boot sequence on your Bios Set Up to Boot from a DVD/CD Recovery Disk, you can boot from your hard drive as the First Boot choice and then tap the F8 key, on Start Up or Re,start, to select the Drive you wish to Boot from (Into which you have Pre, loaded your Recovery Disk)

However, How Do You Boot into the "Advanced Boot Options "menu (If you cant use the usual F8 method) if you have a need the start windows in "Safe Mode" (When in the situation that Windows does not Boot in the normal manner)

I have tried tapping F5 on Bios Start, = this provides the Vista type Black screen Giving you the choice to Boot From Windows 7 = or use "Tab" to select "Use Tools Available under F8" = except you cant select the F8 option with "Tab" (The option just disappears on selection)

Has anyone Solved this one? ......... Best Wishes to all.

I would try to hit F8 then select the hard drive boot and hit F8 again to get the Advance screen.

Many Thanks, "DarkXeno" I proceeded as you outlined above, but it would only boot directly into Windows,
I then repeated the above but without selecting "hard drive boot" from the aforementioned "Boot Device Screen" then imediatly the screen appeared I taped the F8 button again, and the "Advanced Boot Options Screen" appeared, I was then able to boot into "Safe Mode" = My Thanks and Best Wishes, I am exceedingly grateful for your Expertise.
