Have any solution to install windows 7 uefi without csm support

I'm using windows 10 pro and dual boot with mac osx by clover, but now i want to down grade to windows 7 x64. Problem here is i'm on uefi and i dont want to back lagacy mode, how can i install windows 7 without csm support :huh:

I think what you are asking is can you install Windows 7 on a UEIF motherboard bios.

Yes you can. My system in My System Specs is UEIF.

my mainboard - zotac z77-itx have not option to disable secure boot sir.

Hi,
Well CSM (compatibility support module) does have (uefi and Legacy oprom) under Boot Device Control which is a default setting to load either.
Boot also has under OS Type uefi mode and Other OS which uefi mode is default and still win-7 installs just fine.

Same error with me, i'm create usb installation uefi with rufus...

i try both rufus and extract normal with copy bootx64, bootmgrfw.efi still this error then i boot with win8pe, install on it, still error. Then i replace bootx64, bootmgrfw.efi with clover, it boot to "starting windows..." screen then hang on it.

You might look at Boot and Fast boot options,
There should be usb support or configuration listing and make sure it's not disabled
Some people turn off Fast boot and the options do not appear ?

Sorry for posting to this old thread(probably should have created new one), but I have exactly the same question: is it possible at all to use windows 7 (x64) in pure UEFI mode? That is not only UEFI/GPT boot, but also all CSM/legacy disabled in BIOS. Has anyone succeeded in doing this? I don't understand official MS position: it seems they say that OS itself should support legacy-free UEFI operation, but some 3rd party drivers(video for instance) require CSM. For me this seems to be not true: with CSM disabled I get stuck even during safe mode(command prompt) boot just after the CLASSPNP.SYS driver is loaded, while with CSM enabled it boots OK. So the problem arises before any graphics/video driver is loaded. Maybe this happens because I have converted my installation from BIOS/MBR, but not initially installed in UEFI/GPT mode? Anyway it's interesting to know if somebody has installed in UEFI mode and has windows 7 bootable with CSM disabled completely.

Without CSM you have no secure boot
Without secure boot you have no use for UEFI install best to use the default AHCI compatibility with only C drive and no system reserved partitions at all and CSM is enabled.

Safe mode and safe mode with networking those are something I have no idea how to get into on my x99 board

Without CSM you have no secure boot

I don't use secure boot, just turned it off in BIOS. UEFI install is still useful if I want to dual-boot with other UEFI OS, or just want to have GPT drive bootable. Turning CSM off is useful because it reduces boot time, since no legacy cruft is loaded. You could try to boot into safe mode pressing F8 at the start of loading windows to go into boot menu?
