HD-7770 with 3 monitors - just won't work

Hey Guys,

Hoping someone can help me with something.

I've got a HD 7770 graphics card and I'm wanting to hook up 3 monitors to it.

What I've done is got 1 hooked with HDMI and 2 using mini dp to dvi adapters.

All monitors seem to get picked up in both windows screen resolution area and CCC however it won't let me extend desktop to all 3. In windows it keeps saying unable to save.

In CCC I can only select 2 monitors. I've updated drivers and everything.

Any advice? It would be greatly appreciated I've been trying for 3 days to get it working.

I believe the third monitor must have an active adapter in order to function properly.
Two monitors will work well with your every day cables, however, you will need the adapter I mentioned above for eyefinity to work properly.

Hi Erick,

Is there a difference between the active and standard mini dp to dvi adaptors?

Will I only need 1 or 1 for each of the monitors using the mini dp?
