HDD crashed, recovered raw data I think?

My HDD crashed andran some software on it, and said it recovered X amount of data. I had tons of pictures on there. Now, there is a folder that says jpeg, andall of the files in it say jpeg,but each thumb is huge in size. I am assuming that one of these thumbs that looks like it would be a singe pic is a folder? Since one picture isn't 870mb. when I try to open it says not supported etc. Is it raw data? Is there any way to convert/recover this to its original state? Other folders were .gho .filo etc

Which software did you use? .gho is the file extension for Symantec 'Ghost' system image files.........

Easy recovery data is what I used. I just don't know if it is gone for good in these weird formats, or if it is recoverable. If it is not, I am going to delete since it is so large
