Hey there, so I have a gaming PC and I play a game called Day Z (the Standalone version, not the mod for Arma II). Anyways, there seems to be an issue where whenever I am using the microphone to chat whilst playing the game such as through Teamspeak or Steam Voice Chat, the whole headset stops working and becomes undetected by the PC. I have to fully close the game and the application that I am using to talk to my friend, in order for the headset to be detected again.
However, today closing the game and restarting the application did not fix the headset, and it is still undetected. I have unplugged the headset and plugged it back in to several different USB ports (It is a Siberia Elite gaming headset that plugs into its own sound card which plugs into a USB slot) all to no avail. This so far seems to only be an issue with Day Z in particular, as I haven't had problems speaking to people whilst running Minecraft, Battlefield 4, Skyrim, and various other games on my PC.
Typically I would just file this in the Day Z forums, but this appears to be more of a Win-7 Related issue.

Does plugging it into another pc cause it to be detected?
