Solved Help, deleted all of the bcd entries

Hi. I have a problem, I do not understand the bcdedit too well. I had wanted to remove a boot choice where I had removed a drive. My system had 4 drives with identical copies of Win 7 Pro on each one. I thought msconfig would make this easier...deleting the empty entry, but it still returned.
So in going to easybcd, I somehow managed to delete all of the bcd entries in its entirety. I thought I was downloading I think a back up easybcd file, and it was all of a sudden saying, "all entries erased, use 'add' " or some such. Now I could not get into any of my drives. Running "repair disc" off the start-up cd did not help. In the interest of simplicity, I just installed a fresh copy on the Win 7 on a drive I intend to erase and remove anyway, so I would like to end up with a system with the two drives left. I can get in to bcd with that new installation...question is, is there some way I can re-invent the bcd loader and manager for the other two drives.... and can this be explained to someone who is as seriously challanged with this as me? I can put easybcd on that drive...but now I am suspicious and don't trust myself with it. Or am I screwed and can not get into those drives? I do have a different Win 7 system in another computer if this will help. Thanks.

Hi. I am very pleased. I found the savedbcd file, on the d drive, and it worked import...so I am back in business. I thought because I could not find it off the installation disk/command prompt...it had gone missing or deleted, or in any event was in the new and temporarilly formatted drive, but there it was in "d". So before I mark this as solved...I want to go into msconfig and delete the bootloader choice where I had removed a drive, and again when I take out this other drive I temporarilly put Win 7 down. I had tried this before off the msconfig "boot" tab, selecting the entry showing no drive letter...if I remember correctly on checking a boot-up it worked once, so I only had 3 correct choices, but then it reverted back to 4 choices, one invalid etc. Do I have to run this msconfig on each valid drive, before the boot menu sticks on the correct amount of choices?
I want to say this is an excellent tutorial, following the "export savedbcd" it kept me out of, deep *****. One thing though. It is written referencing Win XP, or (ntdlr) and I found this to be confusing to the point where I could not follow it, and trying to convert it in my mind to only Win 7. I still do not know how to just delete the relevant boot loader using bcdedit. Thanks guys, like the other guy said, you are putting a part of google out of business. jeff
