Help!!!! ERROR CODE 0x80070015 and Bootmgr is missing.

Hi, I have been searching on how to fix bootmgr is missing and ive tried every way but reinstalling. I want to reinstall but when it says expanding files it stays on 0 for 30 mins then a error message comes up and i can't reinstall someone please help!.

bootmgr was the initial problem you couldn't fix? That you try "startup repair" to fix that?

when i log on it goes to bootmgr is missing straight away and i don't know how to get onto safe mode

sorry i do not no what an iso is

An ISO is only 1 file which has many files in it. Something like ZIP. Do understand? But an ISO has also other information like "label". It's sort of a picture of a real DVD.

I meant to say.... use a good working DVD!! But maybe it's not the source that's having problems but the harddisk

I think i need to do system repair thing but i do not have a driver to select for some reason when i have a 283.3 gb hard drive

What is exactly the problem when performing "startup repair" (not system repair... whatever that may be)

Bootmgr is missing... is very easy to fix with startup repair.
Did you do something with partitions. Made them active, resize or whatever just before this problem occurs?

   Tip

Sometimes it may take running a startup repair (3) separate times with restarting the computer after each time before it fully fixes the startup issue.

Reboot and look on the first screen for key to press to Enter BIOS Setup, make sure the Win7 HD is set first to boot.

If so work through these steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot

Did you browse in to see if you can see your files to know for sure whether you deleted the OS: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console or use Paragon rescue disk to recover data?

If this confirms the OS is deleted then skip to running Dell Factory Recovery from partition: Dell Restoring Your Computer´s Software to the Factory Settings

If this fails do a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 - everything you need is in the blue link.

If your files are present when you browse in then rescue them if you want and proceed with the steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot

Does win7 recovery environment see the partitions?
Use partition wizard bootable CD to show the partitions Partition Wizard Bootable CD allows user to manage partition directly with partition manager bootable CD.
