the topic is the following, windows updates offered me a monthly rollup previous to the one I had already installed. The one that was installed was the one in December 2017 and in the updates it appeared to download one of the year 2016.
The question is: installing a previous monthly rollup is incompatible? Is this cause of problems?
I ask this because it seems to me (I'm still not sure if installing the update is the cause) that the system became unstable since it gave me some errors that I did not have before. I hope your answers thanks

Hi

All roll-ups are cumulative, if you are missing a prior update it will install it IF there is not a later version.

Please run KB947821, (SURT), it will identify any problems.

thanks torchwood. I have not run the tool yet but I discovered that the update that causes problems is the kb3042058, by uninstalling it, the system seems to work correctly.

the KB3042058 update is an obsolete update and is no longer needed
I find that the KB3042058 update is not applicable for Win7 systems with the KB3125574 convenience rollup update installed
