I recently install Windows 7 Professial x86 on my computer and I would like to install my Multifuctions Lexmark X5150.
So I browse on this forum and I find out about compatible mode. I try with windows vista driver but only the Scanner work the printer driver does not connect.
I uninstall everything and try with my CD and run with windows XP compatibility and the printer driver connects and the scanner too I can use the scanner but when I try to print anything with word or a test page or a page from internet, or anything the printer don't print, so I went to device and printers, open printer status and when I send something to print the printer said it's offline and doesn't print anything.

Can anyone help me with that??? Or tell me a link for a driver where I can scan and print?

Best Regards for everyone

I am having almost the exact same issue with our epson printer. New drivers did not help me, but maybe you will have better luck. If you click anywhere on the program after trying to print do you get a "not responding" error?

Does your printer have some kind of management software?
I have an HP deskjet F4210 multifunction printer and luckily I had windows 7 drivers.
However, I could scan ok, but I could't print. It said offline, even though my printer was turned on...
The HP management software also told me that my printer was offline, but it offered to try to connect the printer for me.
I allowed it to do that, and afterwards, the printer worked without a problem.

So look for some kind of management software for your printer, as it might be more helpful than Windows sometimes! :D
