Help please...multi boot/drivers

hi..
recently installed win7 on my 4 year old pc.. everything is fine.. but i discovered that graphic drivers are not installed... so my fav games like cs 1.6 are running in software mode, opengl is disabled. making the game look crap...
so i tried installing drivers from driver cd but it reported "os not supported"..
so searched intel.com for latest drivers... but to my shock.. they said "intel stopped support for your motherboard and win 7 drivers won't be released". :( my board is
intel D865GSA.
even aero is not working.. . but i dont care about it/ any eye-candy things in win7.. i just want my games(not any heavy 3D games) to look better using my hardware.

so i tried installing drivers in cd with win xp sp2 compatibility mode, which worked installing but reported error "display driver stopped responding. save your work and restart....." within seconds after starting the pc.. :(

i can't roll back to win xp, since this pc is not my own and my parents too use it. and my pc can't handle virtual xp mode with my 1 gb ram :|.

so i decided installing a multi boot win xp with already installed win 7.
the partitions are already made.. but i dont know how to install win xp in multi boot.

can someone please help me with this.. or any other solutions to make my graphic drivers work on my win 7 (like any unofficial drivers)
plzz..need it asap.. i am sick with this crap pc and my parents are not going to upgrade the hardware or buy a new pc. :(

forgive my english. plzz help.

I thought that may come as an answer, I think you have the 865 graphics chipset? would you confirm that you are using onboard graphics? and if the answer is yes you could then look to see if it is possible to add a graphic card

yes.. no drivers for vista.
i dont have an answer for your question.. coz i don know if it is onboard or not...
one thing is... i used to get "intel graphic properties" option on right click and games used to run in opengl mode rather than software mode in win xp after installing the drivers from cd...
but neither happens in win7 :(

I just did a google on your board it would be possible to add a graphic card but you would need the older AGP card.
You could ask at a computer shop if it is possible to buy an AGP graphic card that will fit in you PC and run with windows 7, they should also be able to build it in for you for a reasonable price

Most AGP cards are VERY cheap and installation only takes a few minutes compnoob.:)
