You are trying to use an Acer factory installed product key on a Toshiba (Dynabook) computer.

There are multiple other system activation errors, which likely means either the install media or the SLIC mod used to try and activate it caused the corruption.

There is no install date showing which there usually is, so cant check


If it was a genuine OEM install there will be a COA sticker with a back-up key on it, as well as the version of W7 originally installed.
You could then perform a clean install using that key.

As i said previously the install is corrupt-
its missing required activation and SLIC files
there's no W7 marker on the motherboard.
The system is NOT registered,

I did look the model up and IF i translated it correctly - it was sold without an operating system

If there has been no Clean or Repair install in all the time you've had it then its unlikely to be upto date.

I'm not sure I understand everything because I am pretty bad with all IT related stuff but basically nothing really can be done is what you are saying I suppose...

I really don't know if it had a Clean or Repair install....I usually bring it to a PC repair shop when It's starts to run slow and I just say "my computer is being slow can you do smth about it?" and then they just do their thing.However, after the "clean ups" I never had a problem with Windows after that.

How do you know what the model is? As far as I know, the Toshiba satellite laptops came with windows 8.

Now that could imply a bios flash failure, known to cause activation errors, but the product key is wrong

As i said above if the Bios flash failed then that would also break the exploit.

Roy, you are right ! I think I bought this laptop in 2012 and yes the model is exactly Satellite C850-1H6.(I looked it up at the bottom...

If it is a Bio Flash failure I there is not much I can do about it by myself.Also, I have no idea why this key is wrong. I might bring it to a repair shop but that would probably cost me half the price of buying a new one so I better buy just a new laptop soon

It could have shipped with win 8 installed - likely the Home edition. That should qualify for a free "upgrade" to win10 Home Edition.
There was a time when machines shipped with win 8 ( Pro edition ) qualified for upgrade to win7.
It is possible some markets didn't include an OS.

I think the key for win7 is correct but OP's (simisimi13's) toshiba laptop still fails activation because of a missing or invalid SLIC table in the BIOS. the SLIC has to be a 2.1 version (aka SLIC 2.1, not 2.0) to activate Win7 with a special oem key.



use either rw-everything & click the ACPI button in rw-everything to check if there's a SLIC tab OR google search for and run SLIC Toolkit 3.2 to check if there's a valid SLIC table in the Toshiba laptop.
