HELP! which option should i choose for Harddisk External Formatting ?

Guys , i want ask a weird question, if i want to format 1 TB Harddisk External , just do "Quick Format" or just do a "Normal Format" without Quick Format ?

When you choose to run a regular format on a volume, files are removed from the volume that you are formatting and the hard disk is scanned for bad sectors. The scan for bad sectors is responsible for the majority of the time that it takes to format a volume.

If you choose the Quick format option, format removes files from the partition, but does not scan the disk for bad sectors. Only use this option if your hard disk has been previously formatted and you are sure that your hard disk is not damaged.

Lookslike my Harddisk doing Normal, didn't occured anything when i use, lookslike didn't have any damage or and bad sector, then just do the "Quick Format" ?

or i should check my Harddisk First from Properties > Tools > Check Now > Automatically fix file system Error (This's for scan Bad Sector right?)

Properties > Tools > Check Now > Automatically fix file system Error
That can only be done AFTER it has been formatted! There you can put a checkmark to check for bad clusters as well

Normally, it is sufficient to choose the quick option. With this, the entries in the file allocation table are deleted, but the actual files on the disk aren't erased. A full format, on the other hand, erases and removes both and rewrites all sectors on the partition to ensure that they are all accessible without errors. This is why a full format takes much longer than a quick one.
