If you have a switchable graphics chip on your laptop your laptop will switch depending on the demands of applications. No need to disable one or the other, some laptops are design like this in order to switch back and forth. When there are no heavy demands the laptop will use Intel embedded graphics since power consumption is much lower than say an NVidia or AMD GPU chip.
To be honest disabling a driver to stop one or the other from starting may just cause more problems. You may be able to make those kinds of changes inside AMD Catalyst software or Intel Control Manager safer to do changes from here.

Studio 1458 is built only with 'Discrete Graphics'; therefore may not allow you to 'switch graphics'. I agree that the 'Processor' supports 'Integrated Graphics Display': ARK | Intel® Core
However, the motherboard used in this model is not designed to accommodate an 'Integrated graphics adapter'.
Hope you find the information useful. Do reply if you have any further questions.
Studio 1458 is built with either one of the two motherboard variants (UMA & Discrete). Your notebook has a 'discrete card' which is soldered to the motherboard; and is the only available graphics for the display. Therefore no integrated display possible on this unit.
Glad that you found the information useful; thank you for confirming.
