Help with migrating Adobe suite from HDD to SSD

Ok I did a new install of win7 on my new SSD and have transferred & downloaded all files & other programs I needed/wanted on the new SSD.

However, I need to somehow migrate the Adobe suite from the HDD to the SSD because I will never be able to purchase this suite again because of the price. I received a super discounted price when I was in school.

I do not remember any keys or licensing #'s, so I must migrate the files/programs.

All of the programs work I just need to transfer them so I can continue to use them.

My guess is that, first you would need to deactivate your software before installing it in another PC, like this:

But since you don't remember/or have your activation info with you, maybe it would be wise to email Adobe first, because right now your products are activated. Adobe must have your purchase info in their servers or something like that, they should be able to help you.

You could also contact the school you got it from and see if they can help you.
They probably have the activation to that exact computer which will not allow it to be moved without re activation.

I'm no expert on programs got through schools but my understanding is they were not designed to move from user or computers to other users or computers.
I think the reason for this is they don't want one person to buy the discounted program and then pass it around the neighbor hood.

It's funny that you mention this Bear, because I also bought a student version when I was in college, and at first, the Adobe people were the nicest people when it came to purchase graphic design software, but once I got the student version of a suite, they almost disappeared, I had some problems, of all kind, not only related to a particular program issue, but the whole experience made me be aware of their modus operandi, it's like they love the students when they need their stuff but once they get paid, they leave some of us at their luck, in my experience I never was 100% happy witrh Adobe, that's one of the main reasons why I went little by little to an open-source mentality. But hey, that's just my experience, I do hope they somehow help you with this because, you have paid already for a product, they should at least stand by it. Good luck
