Guys, I am really getting to a point to kill myself.
Basically, i have a 3TB HD and have partitioned it in 3 Primary partitions.
1. SYSTEM (windows on it)
2. DATA - has many stuff
3. SCRAP - has other stuff

The second partition (DATA) i made it be 2TB or so (on display you can see 1800GB).
However, the drive is recognized as 600GB

Please anyone, check the screenshot and tell me how to fix this...

Thanks in advance.

Windows shouldn't recognize more than about 2.2 TB on a disk initialized as MBR.

Your disk 0 shows about 2.8 TB recognized, which is about what I'd expect if it were initialized as GPT. But I can't explain why the upper area of that picture shows D as only 600 GB.

Do you by any chance have an MBR disk on which you have installed some special software from your motherboard manufacturer that lets it recognize more than 2.2 TB on a 3 TB disc? Probably not, as I think such software would show the portion above 2.2 as a separate disc.

Can you start over, deleting all partitions, and re-initializing as GPT for sure?

Very good point. I was actually trying to preserve the info on the said partition, but at the end I ended up backing it up on another HD that I attached to my PC.

Then I removed the faulty partition and created it again. It now displays as 1800GB which suits me. The downside is that copying FILES instead of cloning partitions in a bootable environment is very very slow.
I am now copying files at the rate of AVG 30MB/s where as the cloning speed of the partition is abt 6-6.5GB/s ....
Here is a snap of the partition now:

I've circled the repaired (removed and re-created) partition AND the upload speed back to that partition...

Thanks everyone involved. I believe this topic can be closed, although the reason for the problem is not discovered...
