Yesterday, I had a problem with my HP laptop' s fan, and I managed to fix it by myself. Today, my offices' s desktop PC can' t get to work, so, I' m starting to feel that my two computers love each other so much, that when one gets ill, the other does too...
So my problem with my duo core pentium at work is this: It boots as usual, it makes that usual pointy beep, the screen shows me the booting screen(a banner of "Gigabyte") and then, the chaos... I get stuck with a screen(the one below) that shows a small table of hardware info and that' s all. It doesn' t do anything else, it doesn' t let me type anything etc
The only thing that was done differently today is that I got a new UPS and plugged the whole system in it. But since I had this problem, I plugged it back to the old one and the result was of course the same.
This is a pic I got with my phone. This is what I get. At the bottom right corner you see the DRAM at Banks component, and at the last digit, there is a cursor blinking but actually not working...
Do you have any idea what' s wrong with my system?? I appreciate any thoughts in advance!!
Plz note I am not a software engineer, I am a CAD designer, so the solution might be extremely easy, but I; m not a hardware/software kind of guy!!
