Hi Townsbg;:-)

I have tried those steps but still not working

My USB Mouse light's was turned On but Under Device Manager, Mice, and Pointing Device, it's not showing

When I Plugged On the mouse in the USB port, an error pop up message says "USB Device Not recognized"

Under Universal Serial Bus Controllers, Device Manager window - It was listed as Unknown Device

I had tried every method and followed every step that I was searched for, but all turns Unsuccessfully :shock:

Try your computer's support center for new downloads or "driveridentifier.com" for a scan of your system and any drivers needed.

But first, test the mouse on another PC; also what about your keypad mouse--is it working?

What is the make/model of the mouse and have you checked the manufacturer's website for drivers? Have you made sure that it is compatible with 7?

Hi svrne;
I had to continue installed and Updated all the drivers but I can't see the mouse driver I am using to be listed as it needs to be updated

Svrne and Townsbg;

I assume this mouse was not read by my hp laptop even though the mouse lights were On.

Every USB cable I connect to this laptop all working fine except my Optical Mouse ..

It was listed as Unknown Device under device Manager and Not recognised

Is that new? If so I would return it or do an RMA. You need to try it in another computer.

Hello Townsbg and Sverne ;

Sorry for the late reply

I tried the USB mouse on another laptop it's working fine.

Every possible solution I found on Internet, everything turns Unsuccessfully

I think the last option for me is to update the BIOS but I don't want to because if might cause major problems to my laptop

Make it worst my USB mouse was not even listed under Device Manager or in Mouse Properties Window only Synaptics PS/2 Port TouchPad

It only listed as "Unknown Device", on Universal Serial Bus Controllers on Device Manager
