High pitched noise only when playing games?

I've noticed a high pitched whining noise that sounds like it is coming from the power supply/GPU, both being less than a month old. The weird thing is, it only makes the noise when I am playing a game, for instance if I tab out, the noise will stop and if I tab in it will start again. I've mainly noticed this on a game called League of Legends which doesn't have high requirements anyways. It's just annoying me and I'd like to know if there is a fix. I'll list some components below, ask if anymore are required.

GPU: MSI 280X 3GB Gaming Edition (Twin Frozr IV)
PSU: 800W Storm Silent
Mobo: MSI B75MA-P45 MATX
CPU: i7 3770 3.4Gh/z (oced to 3.9)
RAM: 16GB Kingston HyperX Blu

Welcome to SF. Could the noise be coming from the Twin Frozr?

Many have complained about the noise off these new Radeon GPU's fans. Check to see if it is the GPU and then see if the fan bearing has play in it in and out, could be it's striking the surround at higher then normal speeds and you my be able to simply pull the surround away some?

By doing a little looking on line I found that some are having noise problems with the power supply you have chosen.

If you put a NON conductive device like a rubber rose next to the power supply and then next to the video card you will probably be able to tell which one is giving you the sound.

And it it's the fan to the PSU then likely it's spinning fast and contacting it's cage and that would be an easy fix to the handy but be careful as you may void warranty and the stored energy in a PSU can do severe electrical harm if handled improperly.

I limited the FPS and that seems to have fixed my problem with the noise, I was getting around 300 fps I guess that would explain why I also get the noise in menus as developers sometimes forget to limit the FPS automatically.
