High RAM Usage At Idle 80% on Nothing

my ram usage is sky high on nothing have 6gig W7

if u need me to download and post anything pls just ask so i can fix the problem.

i uploaded my Task manager Processes, Performance and Resource Monitor memory.

Question : Do you oftely use software or games that are memory intensive? If so, Windows preloads them in memory so they load faster. That's the only explanation I have. The others will probably have more ideas though.

Looks like there are many unwanted programs running in the background. Open msconfig and disable all the startup items and then restart your computer. Then check resource monitor or task mgr.

i found the problem it was my 2TB External Hard Drive where i have my Movie on.

fist it was 80% usage of ram 6gig after i turn off the External HD its 15%
