Hey Sevenforum.

Is it possible, that I am only able to go 1024 x 764 when running Win 7 with my MacBook Pro Alu 13' from October this year? It is running 2.53 ghz, 4 GB ram, and 9400M.

Hope you can answer me. I find it very annoying that I cannot run same, or even close, to the resolution i am running in OSX. Seems like my graphic performance has been slowed down dramaticly.

Best regards, Michael Madsen

Hi michael

I suspect you just need the correct driver. open device manager by type device manager in search. go to the display tab. Is your device listed? does it have a yellow triangle on it? are there any "unknown devices"?

Thanks a lot for your comment.

Well, no triangle, and it SEEMS to be the right driver. It says it working properly, and NVIDIA GEFORCE 9400M seems to be working i guess.

More than a few times the resolution problem with the mobile series cards has been fixed using a modded .inf file form here NVIDIA MobilityModder - HardwareHeaven.com But I don't see the 9400M just the 9400m gs.Might want to take a look att the program. Fabe

What's the native resolution of the screen? Maybe that's the max resolution your 13" will display.

Thx for the answer. Just tried the ini. modifier, but it didnt change anything. When i enter the nvidia control panel, the native resolution is 1280 x 800. But i dont understand why i cannot get it any higher. When i play WarCraft 3 in OSX, they max resolution is 1280x1024, but when I play on Win 7, it is only 1024 x 724, and my overall performance seems to be slowed.

Regards, Michael
