Solved Homegroup icon appeared on desktop after latest update

Hi, as per thread title a Homegroup icon appeared on my desktop after performing the latest update. It's not a major issue other than I don't need it, I don't want it and Windows won't let me delete it. Does anyone know why this has suddenly happened and what, if anything, I can do about it?
