Solved Hotmail.co.uk account?

I had an @hotmail.co.uk email address.

I created a new @outlook.com as I had too much spam.

I can't log back into the @hotmail.co.uk email addresss as I wanted to close it and I've tried the forgot password method but still had no success.

My question is what happens if I leave the email address for example not attempt to login to the account for a long period of time, will it automatically be deleted?

The account should get canceled after 270 days of inactivity.

The Microsoft branded services require that you sign into your Microsoft account periodically, at a minimum every 270 days, to keep the Microsoft branded services portion of the services active, unless provided otherwise in an offer for a paid portion of the services. If you fail to sign in during this period, we may cancel your access to the Microsoft branded services. If the Microsoft branded services are canceled due to your failure to sign in, your data may be permanently deleted from our servers.

It's been my experience they NEVER get deleted. I left an HM acct alone for years..it was still there.
