The screenshot of my arrangement can be seen from:

The D: partition contains an XP files 'dump'(which I'd like to get rid of but contains non deleteable stuff - it wasn't an XP dual boot set up) when I installed Win 7.

The C: is to the right of the unallocated partition which I'd like to increase by absorbing that space. This arrangement I think makes it difficult to manipulate - am I right? Advice please - thanks.

You cannot add the unallocated space to C with Windows Disk Management because C is to the right. You'd have to use another tool, such as Partition Wizard.

I got it in paint but I couldn't do anything with it - sorry. I just used the 'Enter URL' option which is the same as the puush image it seems. If OK ignore the F:, I left a flash drive in.

I'll look at the Partition Wizard too. Oh, the URL method worked OK!
