Assign Space to C partition

Don't select "merge". You use "Move/Resize" to first shrink and move D: to the right and then you can expand C:

The example is exactly what you want to do.

Same thing I said only not the same wording. That's why I gave the link. PW example at that link is exactly what he wants.

BFK is the expert on this and knows what he is doing. But, the way I read it, Phoneman was doing the same thing, just going about it in a different order. It seems he would have ended up in the same place either way.

Ive not yet started this process ive been advised to do. I still need to write an ISO to a flash drive and boot from that and I need a few hours when I don't need my laptop to do it. I will post back when ive gotten round to it.

Is it safe to use?
Also I have TrueCrypt to Encrypt files and partitions and I obviously have to keep the software to get back into the whatever is encrypted, I don't mind I was wondering if partition wizard is safe to use on my OEM hard drive and can I delete the software afterwards without repercutions or is it safer to keep the software installed?

If you have data encrypted on your drive, BEFORE you change any partitions, I would remove the encryption or you really risk not being able to get back to your
data.
Remember the three most important words in computers.
