How can I change the clock, and taskbar centering?

I don't like the date being displayed. Is there some way I can replace it with a larger-font 24-hour-time clock?

And is there a way to center the taskbar icons? The one way I can find is to create a new empty taskbar, but that doesn't do what I want -- they're all still the same distance apart.

EDIT: Oops! You wanted a 24 hour clock, and I don't think that this is.

Well I worked out how to center it that way on my own, but that isn't what I meant. Using that method, two pinned apps will be right next to each other; when they're truly centered, they would be equal distances from each other and from the taskbar's edges. If you've used the flexible spaces in Firefox's customization menu, you know what I mean.

And I don't need a clock on my desktop, I want to replace the one on my taskbar. By default it's saying "9:29 AM 30/3/2010" in a size 10/12-ish font. I'd like it to just say "0929", "1844" etc in a size 16-18 font, with no date.

Right click the arrow on the left side of the notification area, and choose "Adjust Date And Time", select the link to "Change Calendar Settings", select the Time tab and set the desired time format as desired. As far as I know, there is no setting for the size of the type...except global settings that would effect more than you want to do.
