while the download/install worked fine on a 7 laptop, I'm caught in a viscious circle with a 7 desktop where it refuses to install the program stating that a newer version of the program is already installed; and must be un-installed, before the online ID assistant 7 can be installed.
I also get warning boxes stating "another installation must complete before this installation can start",; but nothing else is being installed at that time.
I have tried to uninstall all microsoft live essentials programs; used Revo, used Iobit, started only essential diagnostic programs, used windows installer cleaner, then tried to install; shut off the Norton 360 antivirus while trying to install; all to no avail.
I'm only doing this to allow internet access to the windows 7 devices media player.
