How can I make a Huawei modem EC221 work on 64bit?

Hi

I installed a huawei modem EC221 on a laptop - Windows 7 64bit but I cant seem to get it connected to access the internet???

Do I need to install or update the drivers?

Don't seem to have any problems with 32 bit version but 64 bit is driving me nuts

Would appreciate the help

Yes, you need to find a driver for your device that will work in 64bit W7.
If the manufacturer did not bother producing a 64bit driver (because the device is old) then you may need to find a compatible 64bit driver - for Vista or XP - that you can install in Compatibility Mode.
