Hi,

I'm attaching a screen shot of my disk management. I want to remove this 450 mb, 100mb and unallocated space and want to divide this 781GB + above removed partitions into three drives D, E, F ( Equal size)

Thank you!

As far as I know, you cannot remove the EFI system partition.

I'm guessing the 450 mb recovery partition was placed there by the manufacturer and is used to restore the PC to a factory state when necessary. I'd confirm that and probably leave it alone, considering it is so small.

You have nearly 40 GB occupied on D. What is that? Personal data only? Installed programs?

If it's just personal data, I would copy it to C temporarily.

Then use Windows Disk Management or Partition Wizard to delete the D partition.

That would give you about 833 GB unallocated space.

Then make 3 partitions of about 278 GB from that unallocated 833 GB, using either Windows Disk Management or Partition Wizard.

Then move the temporarily copied 40 GB that was on D back to the partition of your choice.

Yes, the 100MB partition is your boot partition. You remove that and you are dead.

One thing more I want to ask that, Can I also divide my external HDD(1TB) into three parts like this?

Thanks

You could divide your external into 4 Primaries or 3 primaries and an extended with as many logical partitions as you want.

Although I see no point in having any more then 2 partitions on a 1 TB drive.

1 for data and 1 for disk images.
