How can I move games and programs to new OS install

Hi,
My computer is giving me problems and I think im going to reinstall windows 7 with a clean install. I would like to know if there is a way I could move my games and some of my programs without downloading them.

If you reinstall Windows, you will need to reinstall your programs also. There is no way around that. Windows has registry writes from the programs and have to be installed after Windows is. It you need assistance with your reinstall, this is a good tutorial.

This isn't a Clean Install though. It is what he has now just transferred.

Mainly im worried about games, because they are really large and I have many of them. What about the games?

Some games like Steam will run from their Program File .exe, but this is not a permanent solution. You want to reinstall all of your programs eventually.
