How can I reset administrator account

My daughter set a administrator account password and she can't remember it. What can we do to reset it? We have a HP p62423 model desktop We can't find the start up cd that came with it. I just brought a new printer but we can't install it because we are promted for the password. Is there anything we can do or do we have to take in to a shop Please help Thanks!

Hello Crystal,

If you have another administrator accout on the computer, then you could log in to it and change the password of your daughter's account.

If not, then you could use the tutorial below to reset it.
