How can i restore explorer.exe please help

I was installing a theme and I accidently replaced the explorer.exe in my Windows folder without creating a backup. I do not have any restore points.
is there a download for a original explorer.exe??
is there an application that can restore it??
what should i do?
please help me with steps.


sorry im a noob in a things like this,i dont take risk doing things in critical so i want a clear things before doing anything in cmd.

if any advice that should be great but targeting the cmd please help me with a good and clear steps

You might see if running a sfc /scannow command may be able to fix the explorer.exe file since it's a system file. You may need to restart the computer afterwards, and run the can a few times though.

it says corrupt files was repaired but it didn't tell what was exactly was repaired hahaha
it direct to cbs.log correct me if im wrong but when i open the log why it is ACCESS DENIED, hmm i open it and there no log in cbs.log

BtW this is new knowledge for me thx thx thx brink hehehe keep it up

If you want to see the content of the cbs.log, run this command


findstr/c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log
