How come the people here on the forums are so respectful than other forums? Forums like IW Call of Duty MW2, or forums of any type.
When i go to the other forums, people flame me and get disrespectful and when i stand up for myself on other forums, i get banned for flamming (which isnt fair). Why is that? Oh and im 19 by the way just in case if you are curious.
And most people on other forums starts flamming me because i cant type (100% grammer/spelling). Not that i cant type in perfect grammer, but because im just too lazy but people still understand me. Why is that?

I don't imagine anyone who acted like the people you've mentioned on the other forums would last very long here. Try to work on the laziness thing though, it's the plague of America's youth.

A lot of fourms are obessed with grammer.

The 'obsession' probably stems from the fact that sometimes net speak devolves into virtually intelligible gibberish which makes the poster who is suffering from the misapprehension that they are cool, does not not have the desired effect of said coolness.

No matter how intelligent they are, they merely come across as a complete dumb ass.

It's a PITA to read and that's why those posts are usually given much lower priority.

I think everybody can make his/her own choices. But as Kari says, for us foreigners it makes it harder to comprehend if some oddball grammar or expression is being used. I sometimes skip posts just for that reason. So at the end, it is counterproductive for the poster if they do not use proper language. That's all.

I just want to say you have to love this forum. No topic ever gets glossed over. Oh and Kari you rock. Fabe

I think it has alot to do with the fact that Zero and Brink completely decimate any form of prejudice, flaming and/or disrespect within minutes of it appearing. Also, most people that join this forum join to learn and help others. You're going to have a lot nicer atmosphere when everyone is relying on each other for help. I.E. I'm not going to be motivated to help you with your problem if you flame me.

Also, the discussions that do happen can get heated rarely devolve to the level of personal attacks. Even if someone thinks they're attacked in this forum, they're more likely to privately message the person to clarify the situation than they are to attack back. Everyone here wants to be here, so they tend to behave properly in order to not get throw to the wolves.

+1 I've been stuck with this forum when i stumbled upon Vistax64.com back in the day This is really a great forum, and its also top in google's results when googling many computer based problems. So it just goes to show, people here really know what they're talken about
