How did you pick your screen name?

Just out of interest, how did you guys pick your screen names. Mine just came from my name (Jake) and a easy number (66) What about yours?

Mine is an abbreviation of Questortews.. a character from a novel I read decades ago.. It stuck and Ive used it now for 20+ years...

Mine stems back a number of years - over 25 in fact. It was a group at college for the fantasy game Dungeons and Dragons and we drew the names for our characters out of the proverbial hat. I drew Dwarf, so that is what I use on forums. If I find that it has already been used, I just stick my year of birth on the end so that it becomes Dwarf63. I'm just glad that I didn't draw Fairy.

I am using my real name. It has caused some misunderstandings, me being a man and the name a normal male name in my native Finland but to all others it sounds like a female name.

That is a Finnish / European Union drivers licence. Finland is a bilingual country, official languages Finnish and Swedish, so it says drivers licence in Finnish (Ajokortti) and Swedish (Körkort), as well as the name of our country Suomi in Finnish and Finland in Swedish (as well as in almost any other language).

I used to drive big trucks (18 wheelers) when I first started driving I pulled into the truck terminal and got out, another driver saw me barefooted and called out to me “hey barefoot” and it stuck, I liked it so much I started using ‘Bare Foot Kid’ for a CB handle (Citizens Band Radio AKA) that was almost 30 years ago.
