How Do I Add A Windows Program Event ...

In the Windows 'Sound' menu, 'Sounds' tab is a list of 'Program' Events, I do not see the 'delete' event listed. How do I add it? My goal is to assign a custom sound to this very common Windows function.

Thx, I did google, did not find 'loads', I visit the links you posted, one is dated 2003 and not sure if applicable. In either case, both were above my tech-scope (involving registry mods). I fear I must now request a 'for dummies' solution to this.

I'm sorry but I do not know a way of doing this without editing the registry. Perhaps others here may be able to assist!

I hope so. In the tutorials many gurus often create .bat files. I believe some of these alter the registry to help out such as my illiterate-self. Thx for reply.

Marc, You are certainly not "illiterate." Full marks to you for realizing your limitations. You are correct in saying that often a .bat file can be produced. Brink, one of our Administrators is the expert on this. Perhaps he will find your post!

I'm not sure that you can add anything other than restore any missing default events from the registry.

That's definitive enough for me!
