How do I delete program files and put my old one in effect

Hey guys I just got my computer back from a store that upgraded my power source, video card , and processor.. The guy Put all my Files and settings FOR EVERYTHING in an Program Files x86 but I alrdy had an x86 folder and its gone anyways... And he put a new one on with just like microsoft word and stuff in it... And its all 64 bit not 32bit so thats not the problem.. How do i put my old Program files in effect with all my settings and get rid of the one I have now.. I want my old Computer back basically and system restore doesnt have a point i can go back.

A standard install of Windows 7 x64 should have both an x86, and x64 Program Folder.
Commonly seen as:


Win 7 is designed to run both bit systems, with x64 going to the Folder marked Programs, and the x86 to the Folder marked x86.

I am not sure what your tech was trying to accomplish, but I would return to him, ask him what he did, and to return it to its previous state.

In some cases of repair a tech may have to use a test Operating System.
S/he may have just forgotten to to revert back to a standard OS.
