How do I delete these specific components from the system partition?

I originally partitioned my Toshiba NB205-N210 for Windows XP, so I only gave the system partition 8GB.

Recently I installed Windows 7 Ultimate (x86) and of course 8GB is too small for it to really work well. This is even if I have enabled "compress files" for C: and I've already removed everything from "Turn Windows features on or off".

I have actually been able to run Windows Update and update everything, but now it wants to install Service Pack 1, and there's not enough room - I only have 300 MB left.

When I was researching what I could delete to make more room, I came across a torrent called "Windows 7 Lite - Dark Netbook Edition". The creator wrote that he had removed these components:
---
- Projector Connectivity
- Speech Support
- Welcome Center
- TV Tuner
- NVIDIA & ATI Video Drivers
- Audio Drivers
- Printer & Scanners drivers
- Fax Drivers & Service
- Modem drivers
- Smart Card Drivers
- Bitlocker
- Tablet PC
- Natural Language
- Windows Help
- Media Center

Can someone point me as to how I would delete all this? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

Riping the windows parts is not actualy a good idea.
i advice you to increase your partition size instead of riping features as it will
be a lot easy and comfortable then what you want.

but if you are still willing to do it maybe this artical could atract your attention

Make the os of your dreems

It's already installed, so it's a little late for RT Se7en Lite, I guess? Or can it be used post-installation too?

Does anyone else know how to get rid of the elements listed above AFTER installation? Thanks!

Why not increase your boot partition size? 8GB is ridiculous for Windows 7.

I know it's very small, but it's a netbook that I use for DJ'ing and lots of other work, so I need a lot of data on it. That's why I only allocated 8GB of 150GB for Windows XP to begin with.

So again - does anyone know how to delete these components and drivers? I only need to free up 7-800 Mb to install SP1, and then everything is fine.

Windows 7 will never run OK on 8GB of disk space, repartition the disk and adjust partitions size with Minitool Partition Wizard.

Eather of the condition you can't remove windows parts
after installation because they got mixed up with your
system.
So you will have to remove them from the installation disk.

Alright, so I guess I should either a) reinstall a netbook-optimized version using RT Windows 7 Lite to get rid of elements, or b) try to resize partitions. I'll try b) first with Hiren's Boot CD.

Thanks, guys!

Can you tell us why can't you resize the partition and give it a gig or two more space? Are all your other partitions 100% full as well?

Besides, nowadays 150 GB is pretty tiny for a HDD. I suggest to invest in a 32 gig flash card for the netbook's card reader slot where you can put your data and free HDD space for the OSs.

Was discarded by previous owner due to "horrible performance".
Was running Win Xp from a IDE drive. Yeah. Was a pain.
