First off, I did a search,> 250 MB and files that were 2+ GB did not show up.

Crazy.

Anyway, if I want to find all zip files, how do I do this?
How about all RAR files?

What about all zip files that have the letters mn in it? Tried searching *mn* = zip, no dice.

Also, what is frustrating when I get a large return, says dozens of pages, when you scroll through the results, you have to stop and wait to see what is redrawn and this graphic card is stronger.

Anwya, need help doing this, thanks.

Thanks,

tried those methods to no avail.

Example, I have for sure, a folder named "SX3" and if I do a search SX3 and search COMPUTER, it will not show up.

Equally, if I go to the D Drive and search for zip files, even naming one that I know is on the D drive, it will not show up. I have made sure that the hard drive was indexed too, it just isn't showing up. It gives me a blank page for a few seconds like its working, then just returns null, or nothing.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this false return?

It's making it really hard to find files that I haven't looked for, for a while.

Thanks

Hello Apple,

Double check in the Search settings to make sure that you have these two items checked to have them included in the search.

Hope this helps,
