How do I get more Audio Channels?

I mean... seriously all it shows for me is "Stereo".



I only have 2 Devices available, one is Realtek Hd Audio (the one with only Stereo, but it has Dolby Surround Sound, idk if that replaces the options of choosing 5.1 or better)

And the other one (disabled) is a Digital Optical Output idk what that is, but that has the option of choosing 5.1 surround sound but the sound doesn't work when I set that as default device.

I plan on getting a 7.1 gaming surround sound headset (Razer Megaladon) but if my computer doesn't give me the option of choosing 7.1 should I just get some normal gaming headset (Razer Carcharias)

That Razor 7.1 headset has it's own onboard chip, so you don't even need to have sound on the PC you plug that headset into.
