how do i get rid of pink areas? Ive tried everything i can think of.

What do you mean by pink areas?

The areas that you have pointed to, with the blue arrows, are not pink.

I have to agree not pink
You might have either a monitor issue or video card driver issue,
Check with the computer manufactures website for driver updates,
Test with another monitor or if you have a hdmi cable connect it to a t.v. and test

Usually we want screenshots, but if you see the issue on these pictures, maybe explain what you see. Or take a picture with a digital camera, and attach that. A Guy

turned out to be a screen issue with vizio flat panel i use but thank you all for your help
