How do I get rid of the animated Windows Seven logo at startup?
Does disabling this logo improve startup speed?

Short of that I'd http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/219576-clean-up-factory-bloatware.html and do the Optimizing Steps which Lee posted above rather than disabling the nice Win7 boot animation which has no effect whatsoever on startup speed.
