How do I get sfc to repair corrupted system files?

Hi to all,

Ok, so the story goes really quickly like this:

I was producing some music (I am a music producer), and when I tried to export to an existing .wav file, I noticed that my DAW was hanging.
I try to delete the file and find out that I can't.
I delete it using the cmd prompt.
I then find out more music files had been corrupted.
I notice that explorer is hanging, and then that every time I opened a corrupted directory or file, explorer.exe would take almost all of the CPU resources and some of the memory.
I search the internet for help, and most of the help... didn't help, until I found a few posts that did help, and said that it was being caused by corrupted system files.
I try to follow the directions for how to use the sfc to repair my system files, but find that it won't repair the files I want repaired.
And then I couldn't find much more on how to get the sfc to repair the files in question.
There were also other bits of random poking around to find out that some of my music project files have "stopped working", so I am hoping that fixing these corrupted files will fix that too.

Also, as a note, I have also run an extended chkdsk that returned no errors, and I have run several antivirus scans to no avail.

So, that brings me to here... I have attached a cropped log file as per the thread I was reading on these forums. Hoping for the best!

Oh, and also I do not have a Windows 7 DVD as it came pre-installed. And I have been getting a lot of BSOD's over the past few months, but never thought to go in search of a solution. Something to do with "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT"...?

Hi Evergloe,

KB4034664 seems to be the cause of your problem.

Please rollback to before you installed it.
(i see its been causing a few problems DO NOT re-install it)

If you do not have a restore point we will have to fix it another way.

Roy

No I don't have a restore point because I tried that first and it was corrupt also. And how do I stop Windows from reinstalling it?

I located a restore point that was before the update, but it (and others) would not work. It would say something about the backup being missing or something. So I tried another restore point that was for an installed program to see if it would work, and it came back saying that the files were missing or corrupt. None of my restore points are working. Also, for some reason my main profile is no longer logging in. It says something about the User Profile being missing.

So what should I do now?
