I have a Lenovo T410S laptop running Windows 7 Pro; 64-bit. I have a Microsoft Sculpt Mouse that was given to me by a co-worker. The OS could detect it fine on my old laptop but now that I've switched it can't find ANY Bluetooth devices. There isn't even an option in Control Panel to add a Bluetooth device. How is that possible? There are no updates available pertaining to Bluetooth and the Bluetooth Support Service is turned on as are its 2 dependencies. This mouse doesn't have a USB receiver; direct Bluetooth. Maybe this laptop is too old to support direct connect Bluetooth devices but the other laptop was not that much newer and detected it just fine. Are there settings in the BIOS that I need to turn on so the system will detect Bluetooth devices? This is ridiculous in my opinion. It's a Windows OS and a Microsoft mouse. Yet the system can't detect one of their own products whatsoever.
