How do I move a System Reserved partition to another disk

I'm trying to move a System Reserved partition from Disk 1 (failing) to Disk 2.

I recently had to purchase a new hard drive after receiving a "S.M.A.R.T. bad backup and replace" message upon bootup. However, I've been unable to get rid of my failing hard drive (Disk 1) because of the System Reserved partition (or I at least believe that may be the problem). If I physically disconnect Disk 1 I get a "BOOTMGR is missing" message, regardless of the BIOS boot order.

Long story short:
I want to retire my failing hard drive (Disk 1) and have only Disk 0 and my new hard drive (Disk 2) installed in my computer.

If possible, I would like a step by step procedure (I'm quite the layman in this area).
I've also already copied all the data I wish to keep from Disk 1 -> 2.

Thank you for your time.

Note: I don't usually post on forums, be gentle. :D

Hello and welcome Mobius mate first some system specs would be good
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/180324-system-info-see-your-system-specs.html

A screen shot of the disk management would also help too. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/9733-screenshots-files-upload-post-seven-forums.html

Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management > take a shot of that screen I use the snipping tool but you can use whatever means you like.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/9733-screenshots-files-upload-post-seven-forums.html
I keep it on the taskbar (Start > type snip > right click on the blue reference and > Pin to taskbar) Save the snips to pictures or desktop doesn't really matter somewhere you can find them easy when you snip it's easy to delete afterwards anyway. The you go down under the message box to Manage attachments > Browse > click on the snip or pic > Upload when it is uploaded you post back your reply:)

Now I thought you said you were trying to change disk 1?? the system reserved is on disk 2 so just run it by us again what it is you want to do.
In all reality the 100MB partition on disk 2 is a drop in the ocean I don't see why you need to move it or do anything with it to be honest.

Disk 0 is your boot disk in any case so it begs the question - if there is nothing on that disk / drive (2) then why not just wipe it and format and have a ready to go empty drive??

I may have reversed the order of the cables while physically reattaching it (was initially disk 1).
My apologies for the error.

What I want to do is remove the hard drive with drive E on it. However, whenever I try and remove my failing hard drive (disk 2 now) I get a BOOTMGR missing message while booting. So I want to move the System Reserved partition to C or D drive.
