How do I reset my computer?

No recovery partition there, so when you get the iso on the dvd or flash drive let us know.

Yep, and I'm doing it now.

Edit: When I'm formatting the USB, do I change the File System or Allocation Size?

No need to. Format only.

When you create the bootable USB with ISO file, it'll create it with the proper file system and such.

OK, now open my Computer on your pc, then put in the flash drive, after windows sees it, make a snip of My Computer and post it for us.

We`ll let you know if it was done right.

It should look like this. Of course your flash drive is probably a different size, but it should look the same.

You will need to read the tutorials and do the steps in them, or they will not work mate.

Use Wintobootic, it`s soooo easy. And so is Rufus.

As Brink says, you can`t drag and drop, you are making a bootable usb stick and it doesn`t work like that.

When you drag and drop, you are just putting the file on the usb stick, just like if you were to put documents or pictures on it. making it bootable is not the same thing.

I asked you 2x now if you`ve checked the size of the iso file, and you have not answered. What is the size of the iso file you downloaded ?

I think I got it without using that thing though. I used WinRar to unpack the files into the USB Flash Drive. I'll post a pic when it's done unpacking.

Make sure you are choosing Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 64 bit.

Let us know when it`s done and you have confirmed the size.

Yep, it starts out saying its 3.1GB but at the end of the download its like 2GB.

It sounds like the download was interrupted. What are you using to download it with?
