How do I stop Outlook 2003 from restricting FF42 "email Link"?

Hi,

How do I stop Outlook 2003 from restricting FF42 "email Link"?

Had to re-install Outlook 2003 and now when I,m on the Web, when I select FILE> EMAIL LINK, there is no pop-up allowing me to select an email address in Outlook 2003 to send it to.

Must be hidden somewhere, looked for ?? to no avail.

1. Open FF Options (Menu > Tools > Options).
2. Select Applications in the left side navigation pane.
3. Scroll Content Type (right pane) down to "mailto" (without " ").
4. Click the down arrow to expand the drop box.
5. Select "Always ask" from the drop list.
6. CLOSE the Options tab.
7. Menu > File > Email Link... should enable the dialog box you are looking for.

Merry Chrismas and thanks for your solution to a problem that shouldnt been a problem in the first place.

When I set up Outlook 2003 I carefully went thru the options and chked "Outlook" as it was an option.

Dumb me should have known it was 'ask me" as that selection was so obvious, I stupidly selected the email client Installed on my PC which was Outlook 2003.
