How do I tidy this up ? Difficulty with permissions.

I was trying to get rid of the long string of numbers etc, but don't understand the long long help pages from microsoft concerning permissions By the time you get to the end of it, you've forgotten the beginning. What do you nice people recommend ?

Looks like some spyware from an old program I installed. Also I'm scratching my head about the top where it says "Everyone". Some of the characters have been changed to protect the idiot that posted this. Thanks

The long set of numbers is the SID of a now removed user and can be deleted with no problems

You can merge this .reg file.

It will add Ownership to the context menu.

Rt click the thing you want to get rid of. Select Ownership >Take Ownership from the context menu. Then you should be able to delete the offending item.
