this is nuts.... how to merely disable wifi, period.
turn OFFF the wifi radio on shiny new Netgear WNR1000.... I have the "easy setup manual" and find no reference to the task
There is a setting to turn off SSID broadcast, but if the "WIFI On" lamp/LED on the unit is reliable indicator of the radio's carrier band, it is still "on"
