When email came in on my Outlook 2007 and the pictures just had a small box with an X in it you could click on a box that said something like "Allow All Pictures for this website".

Where in Outlook 2016 is there a similar function when the pictures similarly do not appear?

Hi robls99,

Hope this helps you!
From Microsoft's website on subject:

On the File tab, choose Options > Trust Center.
Under Microsoft Outlook Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings.
Clear the Don't download pictures automatically in HTML e-mail messages or RSS items check box.

Thanks guys for all the help.

The next time I get one of those emails with the red X, I am going to try the suggestion of adding that sender to the Safe Senders List found using the Home tab > Junk etc.

Have a good rest of the week,

Rob
